I am a general practice lawyer, concentrating in Bankruptcy Law, Elder Law and Wills and Estates. I have been practicing law in Harford County, Maryland since 1985.  After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law, I clerked for the Honorable William O. Carr before joining the firm of Lentz, Hooper, Jacobs and Blevins where I worked as an associate attorney for 10 years.  I established my own practice in 1996 and have been working as a sole practitioner since then.  I have limited my practice to consumer bankruptcies, elder law and wills and estates.  i also continue to serve as court appointed counsel for children in contested custody cases, as a court-appointed trustee to sell property and as court appointed Guardian of Property for residents who are unable to handle their own funds and have no family or friends to assist them.  I also serve as a fiduciary for the Veteran's Affairs Department and handle funds for disabled veterans who need assistance.
